It's Officially the Christmas season!!!

I LOVE Christmas!!!! I love everything about it, but what I love best is Christmas crafting and giving gifts to people.

I did a class a couple weeks ago and we did a few Christmas projects.

The first card we did was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest (LOVE Pinterest), it was made by Nikki Turnour (I really hope I spelled her name right).

This next card was inspired by a card from the Fun Stampers Journey blog.

The last one is a gift card holder with a card that I designed myself using the "Note Pocket" die from Fun Stampers Journey.

Childrens Thanksgiving Project

Today I worked with the children at our church with making Thanksgiving cards and bookmarks. It was so much fun to work with them!! These are just a few of the projects.

The age group was 1st grade to 6th grade. I did all the stamping and cutting, they colored in the leaves and put it all together.

I think they did a great job! And some of them even had time to write a special note in them for the person they are giving it to.

Simple Fall Card

This is a simple fall card, so easy to make! It's from the same design as in the last post but I changed the colors to be more "fall" like. I made 3 of these cards for the 3 pastors at our church for pastor appreciation month.

My First Fun Stampers Card Group!

Last Sunday was the first of my once a month card groups. It will actually be on the second Saturday of the month at my church. Even though I only had 4 ladies, I was a little nervous, but it turned out awesome!!

It was cool because they helped each other, some of them never stamped before. They did such an awesome job, some of them even used their imaginations to create their own cards from the ones I planned for them (I forgot to get pictures of them) - hey thats what its all about - CREATIVITY!

These are the cards we made.

I got the idea for the top and bottom card from the Fun Stampers journey catalogue, the middle one was my design inspired by them.

I Love Butterflies!!

I absolutely LOVE butterflies! I love how they appear to so delicate and flawless and unconcerned about the world around them.

These cards were made using the "Thread Sketch" back ground stamp with ink sponged in the circles. The butterflies are made from "Artful Butterflies" dies, and embellished with Journey Glaze and Journey sparkle Dust.

Become a Fun Stampers Journey Coach

The Blessing of Good Friends!

We all have that one (or more) special friend that we are so blessed to have and there never seems to be enough of anything to express how special they are to us. Well, me and my husband have a couple that we are so truly thankful for, and they are not only a blessing to us but to so many others too! I made this card to thank them for something special they did for us.

When I started making this card it was as a sample to see if the stamping was going to work out ok together. I thought it came out so good that I made it into the card from there.

"Beachy" Gift Bag

Great gift bag with a "beachy" theme to it. I used the "Beach soirée" stamp set for the tag and "Summer Romance" printed paper for the bag.

I got the idea and measurements for this bag from Sam Donaldson. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

Special Day Card

The new Fun Stampers Journey colors this year are 6 neon colors. They are so bright and meant for a celebration!! This card features 3 of the new colors - Turbo Teal, Electric Lime and Outrageous Pink. The background is the "Be Amazing Prints" printed paper. The sentiment is from the "Special Day" stamp set with the new color silks splattered around it, embellished with some "Amazing Trim" and "Sparkle Trim" with the 2 wooden stars colored using the Electric Lime and Outrageous Pink silks.

Note Pocket Card

I LOVE the Fun Stampers Journey "Note Pocket" die!!!!!

This is a pretty simple example of how to decorate the "Note Pocket" card, but the the possibilities are endless!!! You use it just the way it is , or you can hang it from a gift bad, or use it to hold a gift card.

My 1st Fun Stampers Journey Card

Ok - to me this card is a little on the boring side, but in my defense I only have a few Fun Stampers Journey products to work with - for now :-)

New Beginnings

I recently resigned as a Stampin Up demonstrator, not because I didn't like the products or company anymore, but because, well we all need a change sometimes. I have begun a new "Journey" as a Fun Stampers Journey coach. I am sooooo excited to begin this new journey! They have a lot of the same type of products as Stampin Up, but they offer a lot of different and new things too. I can't wait to show you what I learn and create . Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in any info on Fun Stampers Journey products. Until then - ENJOY THE JOURNEY and Happy crafting!!

Graduation Favors

OOOOOO I'm so excited I got my first order to make favors!!!!

My supervisor at work saw my "Curvy Keepsake" post and wanted them as  favors for her daughters graduation party.

These are the school colors - I'm making 50 of each style, I'm so excited - YAYYYY!!!

My Hubby's Birthday Card

I made this card for my husbands birthday. Im not too excited about how the twine looks, I kind of made this card in a rush.

I used the "World Traveler" embossing folder and the card stock is "Very Vanilla" and "Lost Lagoon".

Curvy Keepsake Boxes

I was a little skeptical about getting the "Curvy Keepsake " thinly  but now that I have it I LOVE IT!!!!
I got the inspiration for these from different people on Pinterest, but I never wrote the names down because I was planning on sharing these pictures on my blog. So I do apologize for that.
I used the Pansy Punch on this one.
I made this one with the Butterflies Thinlits - one of my favorites!
And for this one I used the Bow Builder Punch - another one of my favorites!!

This is a very simple card I made for my husband for Valentines day. It's just stuff from a couple Paper Pumpkin kits and a scrap piece of designer paper. I do love how easy it was!!!
